It takes living in a communist country to understand why the Tea Party is so vital in the US today

I had the privilege of meeting Yuri tonight at a salon style gathering in Chicago, and I look forward to reading his new book. Who better to discuss the effects of socialism/communism and the Tea Party's fight than a man who lived in communist Russia? It was intriguing to listen to Yuri, along with Polish and other European immigrants, discuss their personal experiences and the negative social and economic effects that socialism will have on the United States if we trudge further down the "progressive" path.

A clear characterization of this important player in the current political realm

I find Tea Party Explained to be very accessible to people like me who are laypersons in political science. The composition of the Tea Party is diverse, with diverse motives, but this book clearly summarized and characterized this important player in the current political realm. In this book, I enjoy learning about the struggle to limit big government. The outcome of this struggle will steer the course of our present period of United States history.
