Good Introduction to Ayurveda

I think this is a really great beginning to the study of Ayurveda. It isn't presumptuous and it takes time to really explain the basic philosophy Ayurveda is based on. I really liked that it was written for "westerners". I feel like I have a good base for deeper study and like I understand and can employ a lot of Ayurvedic tenets.

Covers all the basics

This book is great in that it allows you to know more about your body and what you should and shouldn't eat. It was a relief to read this as I have tried so many different ways of eating: palea, no carb, smoothies, vegetarian, etc...
I recommend this for everyone since it is based on an ancient way of eating that most people are so confused on due to the mass amounts of information out there.

I like this book

The beginning is a bit detailed but I like that I can go back and review what I think is necessary. I originally checked it out at my local library but decided I wanted a copy for myself that I could highlight and refer to when I want.
